Resources and Materials For Lawyers

FarmSTAND uses strategically targeted litigation, coupled with base building and storytelling, to address the structural and institutional inequities upon which our current food system is built and work toward a food system that is free from extraction and exploitation.

In our work with movement allies, we’ve seen a major gap: there are not enough legal resources to support those most burdened by the negative impacts of industrial animal agriculture.

To fill this gap, we’re building the capacity of attorneys who want to work with impacted communities to make meaningful change through the FarmSTAND Attorney Network. Law students and lawyers can join the Attorney Network for the opportunity to be paired with research projects or clients in need of legal assistance. To give you the tools needed to take on big ag, we’ll provide you with webinars and resources, updates on FarmSTAND cases, spotlights on Attorney Network members and community partners, and more.
