In the fall of 2023, FarmSTAND was launched as the only legal advocacy organization in the country dedicated solely to taking on industrial animal agriculture.
In its first year, FarmSTAND has defended federal and state action to make sure farmworkers have access to essential services, fought for democracy and clean water in a rural Minnesota community, raised the alarm on false “climate solutions” that serve to entrench the factory farm system, and so much more.
We are honored to feature Sarah Vogel, renowned advocate, attorney, and author of The Farmer’s Lawyer, as a guest speaker. Vogel is a trailblazer in agricultural law, best known for leading the historic class action case, Coleman v. Block.
