EEOC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Trump Administration, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has betrayed workers by stopping investigations into disparate-impact discrimination charges, illegally abandoning decades of civil rights precedent. Disparate impact refers to a policy that is not justified by business needs that has an unequal impact on people of different races, genders, sexual orientations, ages, or other protected status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Plaintiff Leah Cross worked as a delivery driver for Amazon, <a href=\"http:\/\/farmstand.org\/es\/caso\/bathroom-breaks-for-delivery-drivers-cross-v-amazon\/\">the company denied her and other drivers bathroom breaks<\/a>, which she alleges had a disparate impact on drivers with anatomy typical of people assigned female at birth.
